Build an extension...!!

Strange enough, God gave me this order in English even before the attack at the Twin Towers in New York on 9/11/2001. It was the caption under a vision in which I saw a lighthouse with a steel extension on top of it. “What is it that you want to tell me Lord?” was my question to God, and He was very clear:

“Fearful times are approaching Jaap. ‘Outside’ it is going to be very boisterous and many people will start looking for a safe place. The top of the waves will be immensely high and you have to make sure to be visible and higher than the roaring waves. Let your light shine, make yourself visible and show the way to the safe haven that I want to be for those who are searching for rest and peace”.

Today, after the terrible events in Paris, God brought this vision in my mind again. I write this message on Facebook because I am not ashamed to advertise Jesus again as the safe place for my and your life. And I have a proposal for you to share this or tag your name to make yourself known as a lightbearer for Jesus so He can be found through you.

Wonderlijk genoeg gaf God mij deze opdracht in het Engels en nog vóór de terreuraanslag van 9/11 op de Twin Towers in New York. Het was een onderschrift bij een visioen waarin ik een vuurtoren te zien kreeg met een stalen constructie er bovenop. “Wat wilt U zeggen Heer?”, vroeg ik aan God, en Hij was heel duidelijk:

“Er komen angstaanjagende tijden Jaap. Het wordt ‘buiten’ heel onstuimig en veel mensen zullen een veilige haven willen zoeken. De golftoppen worden zo hoog dat jij moet zorgen dat jij er bovenuit zichtbaar bent. Laat jouw licht schijnen, maak jezelf zichtbaar en wijs de weg naar de veilige haven die ik wil zijn voor iedereen die op zoek is naar rust en vrede”.

Nou, en na de vreselijke gebeurtenissen in Parijs bracht God dit beeld vanmorgen weer terug in mijn gedachten. Ik schrijf dit vandaag weer op Facebook want ik schaam me niet om Jezus vandaag opnieuw als de veilige schuilplaats te adverteren. En ik heb er nog een voorstel bij.

Tag jouw eigen naam ook in dit bericht of deel het zodat ook jij zichtbaar wordt als een lichtdrager voor Jezus. Het hoort allemaal bij het verlichtingsplan voor jouw stad of dorp om jezelf juist in deze dagen zichtbaar te maken.
